Baked Tacos

Baked Tacos

I didn’t think I could love tacos any more than I already did, until I tried baked tacos. Now we don’t eat them any other way at home! These are both wonderful with black beans or refried beans. (My husband is not a fan of black beans, so I made both options last night). These are excellent with just beans, meat and cheese but feel free to add your favorite toppings to the mix!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a skillet, cook your ground beef on medium heat.

Ground Beef

Once the beef is cooked, drain the fat (if needed).

Start warming up your beans in a separate pot.

Add half a packet of taco seasoning to the ground beef and whatever amount of water the packet calls for (McCormick calls for 3/4″ cup). Bring to a boil and then let simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine beef and beans together.

Grease a 9 x 13 casserole dish and line it with the Stand ‘N Stuff taco shells.

Tortilla Shells

Fill each taco shell with the beans and meat, then cover with cheese.

Prepped Tacos

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Enjoy!
